Children’s Wood Carving Classes

Weekly classes at The Carving Room in Stackpole for children of all levels of carving ability.

Weekly Carving Class for Home Educated Children

The classes will be held on Monday mornings

First session – sketching out design, selecting timber and roughing out the carving.
Second session – carving out main forms.
Third session – carving the details, finishing

Small groups only (space for 5 or 6 children, ideal age 8 -13 years). You are welcome to visit the workshop before the class

Health & Safety. The workshop has been extended which allows for social distancing.

PRICE: 3 weeks of sessions costs £30 plus wood ( £7 – £12 depending on size)

After school Kid’s Carving Club

The classes will be held on Thurdays 5-00pm to 6-30pm

First session – sketching out design, selecting timber and roughing out the carving.
Second session – carving out main forms.
Third session – carving the details, finishing
